Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a High Level Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in Barnsley.

About the role

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to start a 4 day a week contract at a Primary School in Barnsley. The role will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities or whole classes and monitoring pupils to assess, record and report on achievement, progress and development.

The school is a vibrant and diverse primary school located in the centre of Barnsley providing education for children aged 3 to 11 years. The school nurture a caring community with a warm and friendly ethos. The school provide high standards of learning and ensure all children learn to the best of their ability.

To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will:

  • Motivate and inspire children  
  • Have a positive working attitude and committed to continually improve teaching practice  
  • Be organised, punctual and adaptable 
  • Be committed to inclusion and equity

Salary

£21,000 to £25,000 per year

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 4 qualification in Childcare.
