Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our successful supply agency and work within a Primary School in the Newcastle area.

About the role

This is a full-time role, commencing as soon as possible up until the middle of June 2022. The successful candidate will be working within the school’s Early Years department. Therefore, excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum would be beneficial. The HLTA will be expected to follow the class teachers planning, however, they may be expected to plan at times.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will:
  • • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • • Be comfortable working within Early Years.
  • • Be able to work independently and as part of a team to support pupils learning and development.
  • • Have excellent knowledge of the Curriculum.

Salary

£80 to £85 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
