The Role

• Lead and manage the Geography department with creativity and strategic vision
• Deliver engaging and rigorous lessons to A-Level and GCSE students
• Foster a love for geography through excellent subject knowledge and innovative teaching
• Support and develop departmental staff, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
• Contribute to the wider academic and co-curricular life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Geography at A-Level in a UK secondary school (independent or maintained)
• Strong leadership skills with experience of leading or supporting a department
• Passionate about Geography with the ability to inspire students of all abilities
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
