General Cover Teacher – Secondary Schools, Derby (Adhoc)
Location: Secondary schools across Derby
Pay: £150 – £180 per day
Contract type: Adhoc, Part-time or Full-time
Are you a flexible and enthusiastic teacher looking for rewarding cover work in Derby’s secondary schools? We are seeking General Cover Teachers to join our network on an adhoc basis. Both part-time and full-time applicants are welcome.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality teaching and cover lessons for absent staff
- Deliver lesson plans as provided by regular teachers
- Maintain classroom management and student engagement
- Support school policies and promote a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working in secondary education preferred
- Adaptable, reliable, and confident in managing classes
- Able to follow lesson plans and support student learning effectively
