The School and Role
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly, organised primary school in Northumberland Ashington. Working as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be supporting an experienced teacher in a busy classroom environment and will be supporting the teacher with all aspects of class preparation like displays, planning, marking etc. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 15.30pm. This school believes in an embedded creative curriculum in all areas of learning. Ideally the applicants will be experienced Teaching Assistants.
Requirements
The desired Early Years Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND and offering one to one support
- Ideally will hold a relevant EYFS/ TA qualification
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
