Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Food Technology Teacher to support a local Secondary Schools in the Braintree area on a supply basis.

About the role

The desired Food Technology Teacher will demonstrate passion for the subject and have experience of working within a secondary school environment. The candidate will be comfortable teaching pupils across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). Experience in a similar role is advantageous. The candidate will be also required to maintain high expectations of behaviour management to build positive relationships with staff and students.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Food Technology Supply Teacher you will:
  • Have experience working in a secondary setting
  • Have or working towards QTS
  • Hold a degree qualification is preferred
  • Have excellent time management and behaviour management skills
  • Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required

Salary

£120 to £140 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have or working towards QTS
