As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting students with a range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, and general classroom support. Some days you may be working 1:1, while on others you’ll support small groups or assist across the wider class.

This Teaching Assistant role would suit someone who enjoys variety, builds rapport easily, and can adapt quickly to different situations.

What you’ll be doing as a Teaching Assistant
• Working as a Teaching Assistant within a secondary school setting
• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping to manage behaviour and keep students engaged in lessons
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support
• Providing consistent, positive support to students who need extra help

What we’re looking for in a Teaching Assistant
• A flexible, reliable Teaching Assistant who can adapt to different situations
• Experience working with young people, or a strong interest in education
• A calm, patient and confident approach to behaviour support
• Someone who understands the importance of routines and boundaries
• A Teaching Assistant who works well as part of a team and follows direction
