About the role
Job role: EYFS Teaching Assistant (part time)
Location: Leeds - LS17
Pay: £320.40 - £330 weekly, dependant on experience and qualifications.
Start date - April 2026 (ASAP) - Role to be made permanent after a successful period in the school
The School and Role
3 days per week (Wednesday – Friday)
7:30am – 9:00am to work in our breakfast club
9:15am – 3:30pm to work as GTA/SEND TA as needed with 1 hour of lunch duty (12 – 1)
***Applicants who have been overseas for 6 months or more must have a police check from the country they were in to be considered for registration***
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive one-form entry LS17. The successful candidate's role will be to not only support the whole class teaching and learning, but to support children 1-2-1 with SEND needs. You will deliver small group interventions as well personalised behaviour support plans to those children identified as most in need.
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- A passionate and dedicated professional with experience of supporting disaffected young people
- Creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to inspire our youngest learners
- A team player who has resiliance and a positive frame of mind
- Experience of working in an EYFS or primary setting
