The Role

As an Experienced Teacher providing general cover, you will:

• Deliver lessons across multiple subjects, following existing schemes of work
• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Maintain high standards of student behaviour and engagement
• Support learning for students across KS3 and KS4
• Assist with exam preparation, assessments, and classroom administration
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson handovers
• Gain experience across different schools, departments, and educational settings

This role allows experienced teachers to make a direct impact on student learning while enjoying flexible working arrangements.

Requirements

To be considered for this general cover teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent teaching experience across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Confidence delivering lessons in multiple subjects (general cover experience is advantageous)
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Ability to adapt to new schools and teaching environments
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
