Vision for Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the East Riding from March 2026. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach English language and literature to KS3 and KS4 pupils

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that support student progress

• Contribute to the wider school community and departmental responsibilities

• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching English in a secondary setting

• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

• A passion for helping students achieve their full potential

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
