The Role
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher for a full-time position teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English. This role is offered on a long-term supply basis, with the possibility of a permanent appointment for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons that help learners develop their skills and achieve success in their qualifications. Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a passion for supporting students of all abilities are essential.
The College
You will be working at a large, well-regarded further education college in the East Yorkshire area. The college is known for its high standards of teaching and its commitment to helping learners achieve their goals. Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching English at GCSE and/or Functional Skills level.

Excellent classroom management skills.

A commitment to helping learners achieve their potential.
