Are you a passionate and adaptable English Teacher looking for flexible work in Stoke-on-Trent? ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic English Supply Teacher to work across a range of secondary schools in the area.

About the role

As an English Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments across Stoke-on-Trent
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Inspire students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills
  • Mark and assess work where required

Requirements

To be considered for the role of English Teacher you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for education and student development
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary

£168 to £261 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
