We are currently seeking to recruit an English Teacher to work in local independent SEMH school in the Boston area. Understanding of SEMH needs is a must and experience teaching students with Autism, ADHD and trauma induced behaviours is a must.
About the role
The desired English Teacher will have passion and enthusiasm for the subject who will have the responsibility of delivering English lessons across KS3 and KS4. Specialism in English isn't a requirement but an understanding of the curriculum and desire to develop on the role is a must. Qualified Teacher Status is also desirable however Instructor level teaching experience will be accepted. The successful English Teacher will have high expectations of behaviour and attainment and will have the ability to build solid positive relationships with their students. The role will be on a long term basis with an English timetable and some additional cover requirements, so a dynamic and adaptable person who can turn their hand to multiple subjects is required. The English Teacher position will be a full time role and made permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements
- Ideally Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism or a love of English
- Have recent teaching experience in the last 2 years for at least 2 weeks.
- Have a passion for high quality lesson delivery
- Have an outstanding ability to share your knowledge in an engaging and adaptable way.
About Vision for Education
Salary
£100 to £189 per day
- Qualified Teacher Status or a degree in English and experience teaching secondary SEMH students
