The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant Early Years team on a full-time basis. This role will be within their Nursery class, with the successful applicant expected to offer a mix of general and 1:1 support throughout the week. The leadership team are looking for an ambitious, knowledgeable and nurturing candidate to take on this role and provide optimal support.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

- Have experience of supporting in Early Years.

- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

- Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.

- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A friendly and enthusiastic personality.

- Have excellent knowledge of supporting children with SEND.
