About the Role

What you’ll be doing as an Early Career Teacher (ECT):
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons linked to the curriculum
- Managing classroom behaviour consistently and effectively
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working closely with mentors and senior staff during your induction
- Developing your teaching practice through feedback and reflection
ECT Support & Development
- Full support throughout your ECT induction period
- Dedicated in-school mentor
- Regular review meetings and structured development
- Ongoing CPD and training opportunities
- Support in finding the right school placement in Gloucester
What we’re looking for in an Early Career Teacher (ECT):
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to obtain QTS
- Passion for teaching and pupil progress
- Strong classroom presence and behaviour management
- Willingness to learn and develop as an ECT Teacher
- Good communication and teamwork skills
