About the school

We work with a range of SEND and Secondary schools in the Bristol area.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will:
  • Qualifications (QTS): Hold a relevant teaching qualification by September 2023, such as a Bachelor's degree in Education or a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education).
  • Behaviour Management: Have knowledge of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement them consistently to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Teaching Standards: Familiarity with and commitment to the teaching standards and professional code of conduct.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to work in different classrooms or with different students as required. Demonstrate the ability to adjust teaching approaches and strategies to meet individual student needs.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£120 to £150 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Currently finishing your PGCE or completed your PGCE.
