Design Technology Teacher Teacher – Supply & Long-Term Opportunities

Pay: £130 – £261.78 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Flexible supply, short-term and long-term roles
Location: Local secondary schools and multi-academy trusts

About the role

Vision for Education are working with a large network of secondary schools and multi-academy trusts and are currently recruiting qualified DT Teachers due to exceptionally high demand.

We are extremely busy — meaning consistent opportunities, regular bookings, and long-term stability for the right teachers.

This role is ideal for teachers confident delivering DT Resistant Materials across KS3 and KS4 and able to build positive classroom routines quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Design Technology Resistant Materials lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Maintain positive behaviour and clear classroom expectations
• Adapt to different school environments and follow school policies
• Teach design processes, materials and workshop skills
• Ensure safe use of tools and equipment in practical lessons

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching secondary aged pupils
• Passion for progress and attainment in DT
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff
