About the role
This role is aimed at a Criminology Graduate who wants to use restorative practices to support students with social and emotional needs, ranging from early childhood trauma to at-risk criminal offending groups. Your role will consist of working in a specialist school in Manchester supporting pupils with SEMH needs as a Criminology Graduate. Your background in Criminology will supply you with a unique perspective to address various social and behavioural challenges faced by students. You will work closely with other professionals to create inclusive learning environments and implement strategies to support positive behaviour and academic progress.
Requirements
The desired Criminology Graduate will:
- Have a warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupils
- Either have completed, or be working towards a qualification in Criminology
- Be passionate about supporting children with barriers to learning
- Have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
