Vision for Education are seeking a general cover teacher to join our successful team and work in one of our client secondary schools in Hull from September onward.

This particular secondary school in Hull are seeking somebody with sufficient experience across different subjects that can help support their cover needs and requirements moving forward, and expect a high level of professionalism from the successful candidate. With a passionate and experienced support team to help you in your role, this is an ideal position for somebody that would like to work in a positive and rewarding environment and enjoys applying themselves in different subject areas. Located in Cenrtal Hull, this is also perfect for anyone that is reliant on public transport.

You will be working in classes of around 30 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. The role of a cover teacher within a school is to support learning and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. A general cover teacher can be utilised in all aspects of the school to cover across a multitude of subjects and would be expected to provide good quality teaching and learning in the absence of the regular subject teacher.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of General Cover Teacher you will:

• Have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certificate with experience in Secondary Education
• Have the ability to be adaptable and apply yourself professionally and enthusiastically in multiple subjects if required
• Have strong passion for working with young people
