Cover Supervisors Needed – Regular Work Across Local Secondary Schools
We are recruiting confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a respected secondary school trust covering Yarm, Eaglescliffe, Guisborough and Saltburn. The schools in this trust have recent Ofsted ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ ratings and make consistent use of cover supervisors to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. Our branch is extremely busy, meaning you can expect regular, ongoing work and competitive pay.
The School and Role
You will work across well-established secondary schools, delivering pre-set work in a range of subjects and ensuring a positive learning environment for pupils in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You do not need QTS for this position. This is ideal experience if you are considering a future career in teaching or have experience working with young people in a school, coaching or youth-setting environment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A genuine interest in supporting the progress of secondary pupils
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- A degree is beneficial but not essential
- Reliability, confidence and the ability to build rapport quickly
