Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to work in local secondary schools, starting in September. The schools welcome applications from both newly graduates and experienced Cover Supervisors.

About the role

Have you recently graduated and are looking for new opportunities? Are you looking for a better work/life balance?

The role will be to assist and support in Key Stage 3 & 4 classes either as an assistant or delivering pre-set work in the absence of the teacher. You do not need to hold a teaching qualification but must demonstrate that you have previously worked with children in any previous role (teaching, youth worker, sports coach, support worker, summer camps, voluntary etc).

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
  • Have knowledge or experience supervising Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Salary

£325 to £525 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Degree (BA/BSc/MA/MSc).
  • Experience working with young people.
