Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: South West England, Devon, South Brent

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time and Part-time hours

Secondary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £95 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:

• Supervising students in the absence of a teacher
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and providing support to students
• Following the school's behaviour and disciplinary policies
• Reporting back on student progress and any issues to teaching staff

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications
• Experience working with children or young people
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Education:

A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of classroom management techniques
• Ability to engage with students and maintain a positive learning environment
• Basic knowledge of the education system and school policies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:
