ABC Teachers are seeking a skilled and dedicated Complex Needs Teacher to work within an SEN school in Birmingham, part of the Think Differently Education Trust (who we are proud to be working with as a Managed Service Partner)
About the role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of teaching and learning, supporting pupil progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You will also provide calm, consistent support to pupils with autism and other complex needs, helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Mark and assess student work, providing clear feedback to support progress
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Model respectful, inclusive behaviour and contribute to a classroom culture where every student feels valued, heard, and respected.

- A supportive school for students aged 11-19 who are currently unable to access mainstream education due to challenging behaviour, ASC, or other complex needs.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Complex Needs Teacher you will:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Salary
£150 to £170 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
