Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Classroom Support Assistant to work on a flexible basis across schools in the Cirencester area. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across both primary and secondary settings while keeping control of your schedule.
As a Classroom Support Assistant, you’ll be supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, and general learning support. You may be working 1:1 with a pupil, supporting small groups, or assisting the wider class depending on the day.
This Classroom Support Assistant role suits someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly, and is confident building relationships with pupils and staff.
What the role involves
• Working as a Classroom Support Assistant across primary and secondary schools
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping manage behaviour, routines and engagement in lessons
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support
• Providing consistent, calm support to pupils who may need extra help

• Has experience with children or young people, or a strong interest in education
• Is calm, patient and confident supporting a range of behaviours
• Understands the importance of routine, boundaries and positive relationships
• Works well as part of a team and takes direction when needed
