The School and Role

This secondary school, based in Kendal, is looking to appoint a passionate Cover Supervisor to join their well-established team. You will not be required to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), as this role involves delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects, ensuring a positive and consistent learning experience for students.

This is an ideal role for individuals considering a future in teaching, offering valuable classroom experience with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils. You’ll play a key role in maintaining classroom engagement and supporting students in the absence of their regular teachers.

Requirements

To be considered for the Cover Supervisor position, you will need:

• A passion for supporting the progress of secondary school pupils

• Strong classroom management skills

• Experience working with secondary school-aged children

• Ideally, a degree (not essential)
