Vision for Education is working with a Further Education provider in the East Riding to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Business Studies Teacher. This is a permanent role with both full-time and part-time hours available.

Salary: £30,000 - £33000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: East Riding (commutable from York, Hull, Beverley, Driffield)
Contract: Permanent – full or part time available

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to learners on BTEC Level 3 Business courses, helping students prepare for higher education or future employment. Depending on your experience, you may also act as a Group Tutor, supporting learners’ academic progress and personal development. The successful candidate may work on a period of supply via Vision For Education before transitioning onto contract with the college.

About You

We are looking for a teacher or industry professional with strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing the next generation of business leaders. Expertise in areas such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, or Enterprise would be an advantage.

You may already be:

• Teaching Business in a college, sixth form, or secondary school

• Delivering Business, Economics, or related subjects at GCSE, A Level or BTEC

• Working with apprentices or adult learners in a training environment

• An experienced professional from a business or commercial background, ready to bring your industry expertise into education

Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in Business or related subject

• Strong classroom practice with the ability to engage and motivate learners

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)

• Two professional references to cover the last two years
