Vision for Education are currently working alongside a range of schools in Salford who are looking for Behaviour Support Assistants to start as soon as possible. This role is to support young people with additional needs.

About the role

  • We are looking for Behaviour Support Assistant who can be resilient, calm and build strong and positive relationships with young people
  • You will implement intervention work to support students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, to enable them to access the curriculum
  • You will work alongside dedicated class teachers to guide and motivate students to achieve their learning and personal targets

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
  • Have experience of supporting challenging behaviour
  • Have a positive, resilient and can do attitude

Salary

£325 to £375 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant experience working with children or young people
