Vision for Education are currently looking for a Behavior Mentor to work in Pupil Referral Units, Alternative Provisions, and similar settings across Manchester.

This is an incredible opportunity to make a difference to young people and their experience within education.

The role

  • You will be required to create and facilitate a safe and positive learning environment for students to learn and progress in
  • You may be asked to support small groups or on a 1:1 basis with students who demonstrate challenging behaviour
  • You will guide and support students in achieving their personalised learning targets
  • You will need to have the ability to grow strong, trusting and positive relationships

  • Each unit and provision in Manchester we support provide a child-centred, and high-quality education programme for all students
  • They promote a supportive and progressive environment where each student is respected and valued
  • Class sizes will vary between 4-8 students per class
  • There will be opportunities for the role to become permanent with the school after a qualifying period

Salary

£350 to £400 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
