About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Coach to join our partners schools across Kent. In this role, you will support individuals in developing positive behavioural habits, improving emotional regulation, and achieving personal or professional goals within a school setting. You will work closely with SLT, students, or staff to identify challenges, implement strategies, and foster long-term growth.

About the school

The schools believes firmly in supporting and developing staff as much as possible and has a very positive team ethos and supportive Senior Leadership Team. They like to develop their staff from within, so whilst certain experience and qualifications are beneficial, they are not essential. Applications are welcomed from anyone with a passion to improve the lives of young people that may not have had the best start, and who struggle with their mental health and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and group coaching sessions focused on behaviour improvement

  • Develop and implement personalised behaviour support plans

  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies based on individual needs

  • Build strong, trusting relationships

  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, or external professionals where appropriate

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on progress and outcomes

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment


Requirements

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, counselling, or behavioural support

  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations

  • Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities

  • Relevant qualifications in psychology, education, counselling, or a related field (preferred)
