Vision for Education are recruiting for an Autism Support Assistant for a SEND primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. The role is full time (Monday to Friday) which will start from September 2024 or sooner if available and could result in a permanent contract from the setting.

The role will be working as an additional support in the classroom, working with students in small groups and 1:1 with students with Autism to support them with both life based skills, alongside a flexible curriculum in the core subjects (English and Maths).

The school is local provider for students aged 4-11 years old with generic learning needs. Each child has a care, health and education plan in place to support with their daily routine and activities planned at school which are differentiated to suit each child.
