£85-£95 per day.

Bishopton Pupil Referral Unit is seeking an Attendance Welfare Officer to provide short-term support and help strengthen our existing team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring, tracking and reporting on pupil attendance, supporting our work with some of the most vulnerable young people in secondary education.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor daily attendance and punctuality across the PRU

Maintain accurate attendance records and reports

Identify patterns, concerns and improvements in attendance

Liaise with staff, pupils and families to support attendance strategies

Work collaboratively with the wider pastoral and safeguarding team

Provide additional capacity and support to the attendance and welfare function
About You:
-
Experience working with young people, ideally in a school, PRU or alternative provision setting

Strong organisational and communication skills
-
An understanding of attendance, welfare and safeguarding within education
-
Calm, resilient and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
-
Able to work flexibly as part of a small, supportive team
