About the role

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic character with a desire to work with special educational needs and disabilities? Do you have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant experience within a school or care setting?

The ASC Teaching Assistant role will involve:

  • Supporting pupils in both 1:1 and small groups with their learning
  • Following any EHCPs that are in place for individual pupils
  • Reporting back on progress to promote best practice
  • Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented

Requirements

To be considered for the role of ASC Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Have a patient and caring nature
  • Be willing to work in Rochdale schools

Salary

£350 to £400 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
