Location: LS17

Salary: £13.68 - £14.61 p/h

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team of educators. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning activities within the primary school, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for our students. The primary school in LS17 are looking for a Play Worker to help with planning and organising their Out of School provision - After School Club. You will help a team of staff to deliver an outstanding after school provison to a variety of children across KS1 and KS2 phases.

Hours -Monday to Friday 16:15 - 17:45 total (7.5 hours) - Potential overtime and additional hours available during school periods.

Responsibilities:

  • can plan a range of exciting and creative activities to stimulate and support children
  • can work in partnership with families to provide the best possible childcare service for all children
  • deliver an outstanding after school provison to a variety of children across KS1 and KS2 phases

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting or relevant qualification.
  • In date Paediatric Frist Aid qualification
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
