The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you will have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to deliver sessions to students on a 1:1 basis. • Have previous, recent experience working with young people
• Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
• Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
• Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students in their learning
• Have excellent classroom management skills
