About the role

Are you an enthusiastic and hard-working 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking for short-term or long-term supply? Are you looking for flexibility or a better work/life balance?

The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you will have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to deliver sessions to students on a 1:1 basis. This is a great time to join us and become part of our committed support team.

We work with schools across Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have previous, recent experience working with young people
  • Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
  • Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students in their learning
  • Have excellent classroom management skills

Salary

£375 to £425 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • relevant experience working with young people.
