Vision for Education are working with a specialist provision in Peterborough to place a 1:1 SEN Teacher who is passionate about meeting the needs of all learners.

About the role

Vision for Education are looking to grow their talented and driven SEN Teaching team with a vacancy for an 1:1 SEN Teacher for a provision that has pupils of varying needs in the Peterborough area on a full-time basis, starting in April 2022.

About the school

This is a school that has an emphasis on learning through play, therapeutic learning and are well developed with the needs of their pupils as a priority. This is an opportunity to work 1:1 with an SEN pupil whilst building a tailored curriculum for them specifically.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teacher you will:
  • To be flexible, proactive and patient
  • To have an interest or experience in therapeutic learning
  • To have a DBS or be willing to process one with us

Salary

£100 to £160 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • To hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • To have experience working with children or young people with SEN in the last 2 years
  • To have had experience teaching in the last 2 weeks
