Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southend-on-Sea. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential.
The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN

Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver tailored support
-
Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning
-
Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will:

Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

Be patient, caring, and resilient

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Be able to work effectively as part of a team

Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
