We are working with a Primary School in Harlow who are seeking a caring, patient, and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:

Support pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement support plans

Assist with adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
-
Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
-
Support pupils with social, emotional, and communication needs
-
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children, ideally in a primary or SEN setting
-
Is patient, flexible, and compassionate
-
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
-
Has good communication and teamwork skills
-
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH would be an advantage, but is not essential.
