You will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment tailored to the unique needs of each learner. Working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will plan and deliver personalised learning programmes that promote independence, communication, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to pupils with autism and complex needs

Develop personalised learning plans that reflect each pupil’s EHCP outcomes

Use a range of specialist approaches (e.g., TEACCH, PECS, sensory integration) to support engagement
-
Work collaboratively with therapists, behaviour specialists, and support staff
-
Foster strong relationships with families and contribute to annual reviews

Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as required
