We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong commitment to inclusive education and the ability to support pupils with a range of special educational needs.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong knowledge of all core subjects, enabling them to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Adapt teaching strategies to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum
  • Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • ‍‍ Engage with parents and carers to support student development

✅ Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Strong knowledge of core subjects (English, Maths, and Science)
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate learning effectively
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

➕ Desirable

  • Experience in a specialist SEN setting or resource provision
  • Additional SEN qualifications or training
  • Knowledge of EHCP processes
