Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or 3)
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Are you a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in a child’s life? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Level 2 or 3 SEN TA to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Romford.

About the Role:

• Supporting children with a range of special educational needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs)

• Working 1:1 and/or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions

• Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to implement EHCPs and support plans

• Creating a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (in school or similar setting)

• Calm, patient and empathetic approach to behaviour and emotional regulation

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
