Pathological demand avoidance (or PDA as it is more commonly known) is a developmental disorder that is distinct from autism, but falls under the spectrum, where individuals with a PDA profile may exhibit resistance to everyday demands made by others. It can be challenging in a classroom setting, so this session has been designed to boost your understanding of PDA and offer you resources and tools to help you support young people with a PDA profile.
