9:30am - 3pm (drop-in)
Vision for Education's Huddersfield SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) team is hosting an open day in April, to recruit SEND teaching and support staff for day-to-day supply work, and short and long-term placements at SEND schools in and around Keighley, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Halifax, Dewsbury and Batley. We have immediate and September starts available.
The free event is taking place on Friday 13 April from 9.30am to 3pm at Keighley Healthy Living, Cavendish Room,13 Scott Street, Keighley, BD21 2JH
Experienced and newly qualified teachers, teaching assistants, covers supervisors, behaviour support assistants and other SEND school support staff can drop-in to find out more about Vision for Education and the temporary opportunities available in local SEND schools.
We are also interested in talking to people with experience of working with or supervising young people, who are looking to get into teaching but don’t have a formal teaching qualification.
Visitors will be able to apply to register with us on the day. They will need to bring:
- two proof of address documents dated within the last three months
- a valid passport or full UK birth certificate, proof of qualifications, and
- their DBS certificate for the update service or be willing to pay for a new one.
We offer great rates of pay and free training courses and social events, to help staff keep their skills up-to-date and build their professional contacts.
For more information about the event, please call our Huddersfield SEND team on 01484 642 928.
