The desired Tutor will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do. Tutors do not require Qualified Teacher Status. They involve delivering pre-set work for a variety of subjects while ensuring the continuation of education for all pupils. The Tutor role is ideal for those new to teaching. They provide a perfect opportunity to gain experience, giving you a great insight into working in education.

The post 16 college working with students studying subjects including English, Maths, Life and Functional Skills. The students have a mixture of SEND/SEMH needs and can exhibit challenging behaviour. The school is a dedicated and supportive environment, always encouraging personal growth for staff. Their child centric holistic approach provides a warm and caring environment for their students.

• Experience of working with young people in some capacity, e.g. coaching
• Must have experience working with students capable of exhibiting challenging behaviour, ideally experience with ADHD and Autism
• Great classroom management skills
• Have a passion for working with children
• Ideally a degree, but this is not essential
