To deliver highly individualised, engaging, and multi-sensory learning experiences that support the educational, social, and personal development of learners with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), in alignment with their EHCP outcomes.
This is a permanent position.
The ideal PMLD Tuor will be expected to:
- Design and deliver bespoke, sensory-rich lesson plans tailored to each student’s developmental and communication needs.
- Incorporate students’ EHCP outcomes into learning plans, setting realistic and meaningful short-term targets.
- Support and encourage the use of alternative communication methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton, eye gaze, switch technology).
- Provide a structured, safe, and nurturing tutorial environment including leading AM and PM tutorial sessions for a key group of students.
- Maintain high-quality and up-to-date records of progress.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of PMLD Tutor you will:
- Minimum Level 4 teaching qualification
- Proficient in written and spoken English and numeracy at Level 2 or equivalent
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training
- Availability to attend team meetings outside of regular working hours
- Holds a current and valid driving licence
- Flexible availability to accommodate the needs of students and partner organisations
- Hold a current and valid driving licence

£28,039.44 per annum (£29,515.20 FTE)
