Vision for Education is looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants at a large, friendly village primary school in Northstowe, Cambridgeshire
About the role
This is a long-term supply TA role, which will commence in September 2023 with a strong likelihood for permanent employment later in the academic year. Working as part of a dynamic and creative team in a primary school you will be providing support with English, Maths and other subjects alongside performing 1:1 support when needed. Previous experience supporting SEND children is desirable. This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3:30pm. The current team are flexible, so if you expertise is with younger or older KS2 children, then the school can probably accommodate it.
About the school
You will be joining a happy team of Teaching Assistants in this school with over 400 pupils. It is a two form entry school who teach Nursery to Year 6 based in lovely new village of Northstowe, Cambridgeshire. It has a friendly and inclusive staff team and a supportive senior team.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Children and Learning or Childcare (or experience)
- Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
- Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
- Possess experience working with SEND children on a 1:1 basis.

Salary
£75 to £90 per day
- Experience of working as a TA or similar role is essential
