Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant who specialises in SEN to start a long-term contract.

About the role

You will be required to work with a Year 1 pupil who requires 1:1 support in the classroom and provide a 1:1 intervention group to help with English and Maths. The pupil struggles with concentration and can sometimes display challenging behaviour. The role will be working Monday to Friday AM’s. The right candidate needs to have a firm but fair approach, be patient and willing to provide solid, strong support to help this pupils development.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.?
  • Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary environment.
  • Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.?
  • Ideally have experience delivering primary lessons.??

Salary

£10 to £10 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.?
