A specialist school setting catering for learners with Social,Emotional Mental Health barriers in Leyton, are seeking Teaching Assistants on a full time basis . Students that attend often hail from troubled backgrounds, have not yet attended a formal school environment, or have failed to settle into a mainstream school setting. With a small number of students attending, the school offers individually tailored learning opportunities, and a chance to give the pastoral support and time to those that really deserve it. There are typically 6-8 learners per class.

Teaching Assistants are required to support both academically and emotionally. There will be times when you will face challenging behaviour , therefore the Teaching Assistant will need to be resilient in nature, be able to remain calm and emotionally regulate.

School hours are 0815-4pm, and is easily accessible from Leyton midland road and Leyton station
