Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to help support in Key Stage 1 at a primary school in Retford. The role is due to start in September and is required for the Autumn Term.

About the role

The school are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to provide intervention groups and general classroom assistance in Key Stage 1 to help children to develop in English & Maths. The role is a part-time position and will be reviewed to possibly extend at Christmas.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare
  • Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary environment
  • Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
  • Ideally have experience delivering primary lessons

Salary

£10 to £10 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 Qualification in Childcare
