Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Church Of England Primary School based in Tonbridge and Malling

About the role

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in small groups as well as working with children on a 1-1 intervention basis. There is also the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to be given added responsibility and cover for the class in the Teacher’s absence.

The school is set on spacious grounds in a small village in Tonbridge and Malling and was rated as GOOD in its last OFSTED visit.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Good subject knowledge in reading, writing and maths (a bonus would be that you have your GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths)
  • Proactive, personable with a real positive can-do attitude
  • Have a DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one

Salary

£70 to £85 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
