About the Role:
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Y3/4 Supply Teaching Assistant to support a school in the Darlington area. This is a flexible role, ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and are looking for full-time opportunities.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant specialising in KS2, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a variety of educational settings. Each day may bring a new environment, offering a rewarding and dynamic experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the learning and development of children in KS2
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and routines
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting
  • A patient, supportive and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
